Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: 2026-08-09
Revised: 9 August 2026
You may have the right, under the CCPA/CPRA in California or an equivalent statute in another US state, to opt out of having your personal information sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page tells you how.
Effect of Your Choice
Opting out stops the sharing of advertising identifiers; it does not remove advertising from the site. You may still see ads, but they will be generic rather than selected from your browsing history. Nothing else about the site changes, and we do not degrade access or withhold content because you opted out.
What ‘Sale’ and ‘Share’ Mean
- There is no monetary sale of personal information by Chairsage. The practice that engages this right is narrower — where ads are served, advertising and cookie identifiers may be shared with ad partners. Given how broadly the statutes define ‘sale’ and ‘share’, we assume it counts and provide the opt-out.
- Anyone reading our guides on chairsage.com can opt out, subscriber or not.
Registering Your Choice
Opt out in whichever way suits. Global Privacy Control, enabled in your browser, is honoured here automatically and needs no contact with us. The consent banner, where displayed, lets you refuse advertising cookies. Or email hello@chairsage.com with subject ‘Do Not Sell or Share’. Creating an account is never a condition.
See the State Privacy Notice for the complete picture on state privacy rights.
